There’s a new club that’s been making quite a buzz in the affluent district of Seoul (Kangnam). The club known as the “Couple’s Theme Club (Club Desire)” in Nonhyeon-dong is, according to reports, has been promoting, among other things, group sex orgies, sex partner swapping (swingers), and live sex watching.
The sex club is open only for exclusive membership. To gain the right to enter the establishment and participate in their “sex services”, couples have to be an accepted member of their official website (found here) and the couple members have to be searched thoroughly before entering the premises by tight security personnel to ensure that no one brings any image/video capturing devices inside the club.
Groups of Korean netizens have been pushing for its permanent closure, dubbing the sex club as indecent and immoral. But some lawyers are arguing that the club hasn’t violated any laws yet because the club’s questionable “sex services” are offered in privacy and with all the couple members consent.
